Sunday Special-Roasted Chicken a la Ben

My husband made dinner for us.  I must say he roasts a pretty mean chicken.  Although it's almost Monday I wanted to share our Sunday supper pictures with you. 

Herb smothered and nestled in a bed of white and purple fingerling potatoes from the farmers market, carrots, onion and whole garlic cloves.  Roasted veggies in a bed of chicken fat, divine.

As if it wasn't enough we had a white wine cream sauce with mushrooms.

Simple but delicious.
