It's the most exciting thing to happen so far this year. I applied with my latest project idea and have been accepted. Those of you unfamiliar with the kickstarter program might need to be filled in with the details of how this works. So, kickstarter.com is a website based on the concept that everyone wants the opportunity to help someone. Given the chance to pitch your proposal others can decide to donate funds to help you achieve your goal. There are incentives offered like those PBS pledge drives you see on tv. If you donate a designated dollar amount rewards like products and/or services are sent to you. The site supports those who are creative, artistic, and innovators. The only catch is that if I don't raise the full amount I set as a goal, I don't get ANY monetary support. Now that you understand the gravity of this matter I'm sure you are dying to find out what is my latest project?
I love to throw a party but I also think even the everday deserves to be special. Sometimes mexican food tastes better with mariachi music and festive plates. I'm just saying putting that extra something into it makes even the simplest things more spectacular. I've come up with the concept of a party planner in a box. If you visit my shop rkfinch.etsy.com you will find I am selling individual items that can be used at a party or event. I am hoping to be able to create an all in one box that has everything you need to host a party. They will be seasonally designed and theme or color scheme inspired. You just choose the one you like best and decide the size of the party box needed in relation to your guest list.
In your box you will find everything is elegant, original and DISPOSABLE! I will also include menu ideas with tested recipes, table setting ideas, decorations, and even a complementary soundtrack to keep your guests in the mood. I can't tell you all my secrets just yet. You'll just have to check out my project proposal at kickstarter. 
You can have an amazing party that your guest will continue to talk about even after it's over. It's simple and worry free without paying for an expensive party planning service. Why not enjoy yourself for once at your own party.
