As a new mom I am always looking for simple tricks to keep my look practical but fresh. What can sometimes feel like a uniform gets a quick pick me up with accessories. I am inspired this summer by all the brights. My daughter has a lot of clothes with neon colors and I forgot how much I liked them. I have added a dash of brights to my wardrobe mostly through accessories.
A necklace with a rainbow of neon goes with practically anything and matching earrings make getting dressed a no brainer. Hot pink sandals are girly but chic and keep the pedicure popping. It doesn't take much to spruce up the old jeans and tshirt uniform. I get my accessories usually at an outlet store. Most pieces are no more than $5.99 so if they break or I'm over it I don't fret the expense. The added bonus is my daughter loves to play with my statement necklaces while I wear them. No fuss from either of us.
Sometimes life gets complicated and fashion gets boring but this week I encourage you to look on the bright side. Try something neon this summer.
